I think Chhour is hard done by. She appears to have integrity and genuine passion for what she is doing. Her honest humanity with the teary response I saw as a positive.
Seymour deserves 9+ for enduring all the cheap potshots the woke retards like Ms Lynch and Mr Collins are throwing at him.
But where you and Audrey got it most wrong imnsho was your assessments of Luxon. I give him 3/10.
Failed to state categorically that Sovereignty was 'ceded'. Keeps failing by acting tough on co-governance, but does nothing to stop it happening (bravo Shane on the Waitaks!). Failed comically with Hosking on Bailey (as you noted!). Failed majorly on Israel - a weak response to barbaric terrorism. Has failed in dealing with the excesses and idiocy of TPM. Fails to answer questions like a genuine leader, instead waffles inanely when pressed. Continues to fail on the bullshit we know as Climate Change and Net Zero bollox. Failed majorly with Seymour's Treaty Bill ("nothing in it that I like" - oh? like parliamentary sovereignty, equal rights for all...?? Just weak.)
He has failed massively to come out strongly against trans madness. Gets another fail because he is matey with Albo & 2-tier Keir. His Government has failed to address hugely excessive immigration numbers and shit quality thereof. And finally (for this non-exhaustive list), so far he has failed to tell the activists on the Supreme Court who is actually running the country while they push absurd tikanga out to society.
Heck, probably only deserves a 2 in all honesty. But just my view, I appreciate being able to read yours.
Thank you. Couldn't have said it better myself. Also Luxon's strategy of cosying up to the UK and Europe against Trump is insane. We should have negotiated the tariffs with the US. Instead we're throwing our lot in with countries with policies that will see even more hardship inflicted on their citizens. Luxon has really screwed the pooch on this one.
I am afraid I loathe Luxon for his failure to read the room such as getting poor tucker away from TPM. Luxon is obviously a WEF puppet and a bald Aredern - National need to quit the Paris Agreement and ignore the WHO and stop all the payouts to all and sundry which are bankrupting the country. otherwise I agree with Just Boris, we all need to be equal - bring on the referendum
“She has shown loyalty in standing with them in crisis (e.g. sinking our own ship)”
Seriously Ani? No accountability for the largest ever peace-time military disaster in NZ history? I really don’t think “loyalty” is what we want from a minister at times like this. We can’t even afford to replace the ship for gods sake. I would have thought the entire chain of command would resign after such a cluster-f*ck, but never mind, what’s important is that the minister is “loyal”.
When you say the disaster of the school lunches, what exactly do you mean? The programme is a disaster, the lunches are a disaster, or the implementation was/is a disaster?
I mean the teething issues plus the media meltdown. There were some genuine issues including one of the companies going under, but (as I say) the disaster was partly media manufactured.
There were a few teething issues, that’s true, but that is also to be expected for a large project. It was really a media beat-up, as you rightly intimated Ani. School lunches at half the cost are firing at something like 98% or so. Comrade Ardern’s 10,000 houses saw just a couple of hundred built (‘oh, but we don’t like targets’) and yet no beat up on her. As someone with a bit of inside knowledge, I can say the school lunch programme is delivering far greater total benefit to NZ kids now. Also plenty of sour grapes from some local providers who were creaming it at $9 a meal under Labour.

you make some compelling points and I actually want to reduce the mark I gave him now!
Congrats, Boris! You changed my mind! I would send a prize but I'm broke haha

After reading your excellent article, I think Audrey Young might be the one who needs to watch out for demotion. 🤔
haha thanks for reading :)
