Yes the Govt Dept I work for has left X. And yes my experience clearly shows me that in my world we are totally running forward on the plans (based on radical progressive assumptions not evidence) developed under Labour are continuing to steamroll along. The only thing creating a few wobbles is the 7% claw backs on budgets. I think only by getting a 2nd or 3rd term will some change start to occur.

Wellington needs to have a massive depression causes by retaining only 10% of the core public service. They are nor merely malevolent. They are incompetent and wasteful. In this economic environment, we cannot afford to have employees who are wasteful, incompetent or malevolent.

Whilst loathe to say it, is it time we adopted the US system of political appointments to head up our government departments? They do seem to be a law unto themselves and there is little question that they waste taxpayer's money. Who can forget the idiocy of playing whale songs to kauri trees?

Such a Wellington thing to do. A government dept comms team proves itself to be staffed tragic wokesters - must be Tuesday… O wait, it’s only Monday….. The usual suspects I follow with my sock on Bluehaircry are excited by the Ministry’s appearance there - a blow against the “bigots”.

It appears to me that they be attempting to escape the elephant. I would assume that the interactions with public on X were becoming too revealing. Switching to a safer platform with "nice" people will help avoid confronting the truth. Easier to smother with "friends". I find it interesting how often comments are switched off on departmental video releases. Not surprising when considering the unhinged nature of this floundering governance.
