Love your weekly wrap up Ani. For the most part it is disturbing reading especially where the hard facts are laid before us, but an impotent and weak wristed response is the inevitable outcome particularly on issues that this present government was voted in to upend We are getting increasingly frustrated and this weeks news of the buy one get two in the door immigration policy from Stanford truly horrified most, layer on top of that the Maori tikanga continued carry on in Education and rightfully so we are becoming increasingly frustrated and even a bit angry
Throw on top of that the complete idiocy of TPM and its support of a unelected despot in far way lands and the exasperation becomes palpable.
People often get confused with Census & the Household Survey which are both Stats. The Household survey is ongoing and what sounds like you are experiencing. Households are randomly picked and then tracked for long periods of time to see fluctuations & changes. This will likely need to become larger to compensate for lack of on the ground Census information. My understanding is that national inflation / changes to food pricing etc comes through this survey.
I fear National are starting to lose their way. Stanford's outburst is unforgiveable. National were elected to remove the sort of nonsense included in article 127. They have failed to do so.
National were also elected to prune back our bloated bureaucracy and reduce debt. On both of these issues they have failed dismally. The Taxpayers' Union seems able to dig up examples of waste by our government departments on a daily basis.
I suspect the only thing going for National is the thought of Te Pati Maori and The Greens (with envy) being part of any future government is quite unacceptable to the majority.
Thanks Ani - as always, a great summary of the political "highlights" of the week. Your writing, assessments, humour, and knowledge are exceptional - keep it up please!
1. I am a conservative voter these days but my role is involved in dealing with the influx of people being pulled into the justice sector for retail crime. In my heart I want to say "throw away the key" but my eyes tell me it does not work. Introducing fines for shoplifters is hilarious. These people already have large amounts of fines that are unpaid and will never be paid. They will then be given community work and their fines will be wiped. They will then not go to community work and then they will be taken back to court but will constantly fail to appear. Finally the court will give up and convict and discharge them with no penalty. The life cycle of this takes years. The court system is collapsing and all we can think of is a $1000 fine...
This is happening multiple hundreds of times a week. I think law abiding citizens are clueless on what is going on in the Police / MOJ / Corrections conveyor belt.
2. "Lawyer Graeme Edgeler has suggested that scrapping the census won’t be as simple as many think". But I assume Stats legal people think they will be able to claim admin data collection is just a 21st century Census?
Stats New Zealand sent a woman to see us about a year ago, it was on a weekend and we had guests staying with us. We tried to explain to her that we were on a toll call to a help centre in Singapore, and were busy. She persisted, until she realised we weren't going to be co-operative, (e.g my wife explained to her that the IRD already held the information she wanted, and what was it to be used for?) at which point she burst into tears and rushed out of our home.
About a week later a very polite fellow phoned my wife, and asked if it would be convenient to ask her a few questions. He explained he would be phoning us every three months for the next two years. Again, as we explained, our circumstances wouldn't be changing and most of the information was already held by another department. Undeterred, he phones us religiously every three months.
I would rather see my taxes used to improve our health system, but there you go!
I would like to think that Rawiri Waititi's "endorsement" of Ibrahim Traore is the "kiss of death" for Labour's chances at the next election (because Labour would almost certainly need TPM's support to form a Govt)....
I can't believe what I just heard Erica saying at a select committee hearing recording. Saying equitable outcomes for Maori is so important to "honouring the treaty".
AND she said the PM has a Maori advisory group!*! (that she consults with).
Having equal opportunities for ALL NZers is a truly desirable objective. But equal outcomes!???!
Maybe ani is a deep state villain too. Why would she not mention the newly revealed information? Why is Ani hiding the biggest fraud since jesus. Ask Ani if NWO is right for you? Ask Ani about technocracy.
Why is Ani not exposing the global historic fraud which has just been revealed? Why is that Ani? Trying to hide it? That's aiding and abeiting. Makes you guilty of historic fraud too. Why dont you tell everyone about technocracy and how the country was captured eh?
Completely agree re TPM. I think most NZers don't realise how extreme TPM is, primarily because we do not have a properly functioning MSM. Pressure needs to be put on Labour and Hipkins to explain why TPM is acceptable as a coalition partner. And the messaging from Nat/NZF/ACT needs to be such that every time a voter sees Hipkins' face it morphs into Waititi in their mind. National just don't seem to be exploiting this vulnerability in Labour - maybe it's just too far from the election for them to bother.

You will get a real shock when you hear the real news

I predict that National will get a huge shock at the next election because of their failure to deliver what we elected them to do.
The outcome is already decided. Nzgovt is NWO. Has been since 1930s.
The whole lot are NWO. Every jab death was pre meditated.

Voting was annulled in 1930s when nz waa signed up to accept the NWO. MPs are selected. Not by us.
Excellent summary of the week thank you Ani.
You HOMOPHOBE!
Just kidding.

Where is the prime minister just now? He seems to have left the stage. He seems to do this whenever the heat increases.

Technocracy was introduced over us all, in 1930s.NZ govt has been NWO since then. Did you vote for satan? Me neither.
Luxon and all are NWO. NZ signed up to one world govt in 1930s.. Every single politician since then has committed heinous fraud.
Nz govt exposed as NWO. Did anyone vote for satanic govt?
Now exposed. Nzgovt is NWO.

Nzgovt is NWO. NEWS is all cooked up.
