We are now approaching the final stretch. There are a little over two months until the 7 November election, and I have a long and ever-expanding list of things I want to write about before then. In order to help me prioritise what I publish, I am asking for some assistance from my readers. What do you want me to write about?
Are there particular electorates you think deserve a closer look? Candidates you want profiled? Policies you have seen announced but would like somebody to actually dig into rather than regurgitating the press release? Something about MMP, strategic voting, polling, coalition arithmetic, or the general mechanics of the election that you want explained?
Or perhaps there is a political claim you keep seeing repeated and you want me to work out whether it is actually true.
Basically, tell me what you want from Thought Crimes between now and election day. Leave your suggestions in the comments. I cannot promise to do all of them, obviously, but I suspect you will come up with several things I have not thought of.

As we draw close to election day it looks increasingly clear to me that Labour is running a deliberate strategy of being exceptionally vague with policy - particularly with regard to economics and the budget.
The approach seems to be "we just need the electorate to vote the coalition out, rather than us in".
So I personally want to ensure a very fine light is shone on this critical area. Their promises - particularly to repeal the fair pay legislation - are never gone to add up, and they must not be allowed to get away with no explanation of how it is supposed to all be accounted for.
