This is excellent. Nailed it imo. I tend to lazily dump both woke left and woke right into the space the Venn shows. Flip sides of the same coin. I sometimes wonder how long this has been the case or if social media and the more extreme philosophies that somehow became mainstream in recent years has created/exacerbated the extremes on both sides. I haven’t landed on an opinion yet. I do think covid lockdowns and people with time on their hands led to a lot of it.

Great post, thanks Ani. It clarified a bunch of things for me. What grabs me is that both Wokes' targets are their own centrists. They might use the other side as content fodder, but it's aimed at their own moderates.

Another similarity is the performative aspects of being woke, where most of their behaviour is intended for in-group affirmation and dopamine hits. If a micro-agression falls in the forest and no one hears, am I truly triggered?

Lastly, the Woke Left are mostly demonstrably mentally ill. I wonder if the Woke Right equivalent is their immaturity, or is there something deeper?
